This program is suitable for yoga instructors interested in twelve step recovery and/or those teachers that are interested in working in the field of addictions, depression, anxiety or the mental health field in general.  All others are welcome and encouraged to attend our program and receive the benefits of knowledge; however certification to teach cannot be offered.

The Yoga for The Higher Powered® certifiction program includes, but is not limited to:

  • the higher powered poses and their mental benefits
  • how to put a higher powered class together
  • teaching poses that specifically help those with anxiety, depression, insomnia, etc.
  • suggested topics and music for yoga meetings
  • teen yoga classes for troubled youth
  • the research that supports meditation's effect on addiction
  • marketing ideas and support in teaching our program
  • how vital breath work is for addiction recovery and those affected by     addiction
  • what you should know when working in a treatment center
  •  how to speak the language of recovery

Students will receive a YFTHP manual, a certificate of completion, and a YFTHP dvd with accompanying booklet. The cost of the weekend is $350 and the copyrighted manual is included.  Special payment arrangements are available.  Please complete the contact page if  are interested in attending a certification weekend.
